The LogiSon Sound Masking System can help protect verbal communications from both eavesdropping and electronic espionage.
Protects against eavesdropping
By adding a continuous, engineered masking sound to the space, the LogiSon Sound Masking System dramatically reduces the distance over which verbal communications can be heard. Across short distances, sound masking may not prevent someone from hearing that a conversation is occurring, but it will inhibit their ability to understand what is being said.
Protects against electronic espionage
The LogiSon Sound Masking System’s ability to protect the privacy of verbal communications can be augmented by connecting the Hubs to transducers. These components transfer the masking sound to physical structures such as windows, doors, ducts, pipes and walls, impeding the use of vibration probes and lasers. Each transducer’s frequency and volume can be modified to ensure it is appropriate for the surface where it is applied.
Additional security measures
The LogiSon Sound Masking System features multiple independent sound generators. Randomness of the masking sound makes it exceedingly difficult to filter, and the components cannot be modified to act as listening devices. Because it is a networked system, the level of protection it provides can be quickly adjusted to suit changing requirements without re-wiring or altering existing cabling.
It’s critical to protect such a system from unauthorized access, so the LogiSon Sound Masking System is equipped with several security features including physical safeguards, password protection, encrypted communication, non-volatile memory, monitoring and alarms.
