This week, I’d like to call your attention to my article in the October issue of Construction Canada magazine called “Mind the Gap: Using sound masking in closed spaces.” In it, I investigate some of the challenges associated with creating effective speech privacy and noise control in private offices, meeting rooms and other closed spaces.
If you’re currently deliberating whether to invest in deck-to-deck walls or sound masking, it’s definitely worth a read. Same goes for those who've built walls to the suspended ceiling or used demountable partitions and are experiencing acoustic problems.
